program. Our Bull Mountain Wilderness Area was set aside in 1963 to be held forever wild,
and serves as an area to observe animals close at hand, and for hiking and merit badge
study. A full range of nature/ecology merit badges is offered including: environmental
science, insect study, soil and water conservation, fish and wildlife management,
geology, nature, weather, reptile and amphibian study, forestry, mammals, oceanography, and

always activity! At Rodney we teach
skills of various merit badges for hobby interests or just for the fun of knowing how to
make use of natures materials. This program answers the creative urge to make
something. We offer basketry, Indian lore, leather work, woodcarving, pottery and art.
