TYPES OF FACILITIES
Lodges are fully equipped with bunks and mattresses, electricity, running water in kitchen, refrigerator, cooking stove, cooking and kitchen gear, tables, benches, and heat source (woodstove, gas or electric heat, or fireplace). Pathfinder, Brown, Nanticoke Lodge, and Indian River Lodge have indoor bathroom facilities and ovens. All others have latrines nearby.

Bunkhouses are heated with a woodstove (not to be used for cooking) and have electricity. Fire rings with picnic tables are provided for cooking and eating outside. Latrines and frost free spigots are nearby.

Shelters are 3 sided adirondack shelters at Rodney and pavilion type at Henson. Bunks, fire rings, and picnic tables are provided. There is no electricity or heat source. Latrines and frost free spigots are nearby.

Tent Sites include fire rings and picnic tables. Bring your own tents. Latrines and frost free spigots are nearby.

Other Facilities are available by special arrangement. All facilities are available to organized groups other than Scouts.

CAMPMASTERS will be on duty to serve you when you arrive at camp. Campmasters are a group of volunteers responsible for the operation of the camp. They will be happy to serve you in any way practical. The Campmasters will also have a program scheduled for Saturday afternoons from September through May. A schedule of the Campmaster Crew on duty and the program that they plan to offer is provided in this flyer. If you have other program needs that we can help with, do not hesitate to ask.

FROSTBITE CAMPER AWARD is a Del-Mar-Va Council recognition program designed to promote outdoor winter camping. To earn the award Scouts must spend four nights under canvas between December 1 and March 31. At least 2 of the 4 nights must be at either Rodney or Henson Scout Reservation. Frostbite campers must sleep under canvas and prepare their meals outdoors using the Patrol Method. This award may not be earned by an individual camping out on his own. The award is an embroidered emblem for first time Frostbite Campers and is followed by embroidered segments in subsequent years.
